Community Relations

Care Net of Central Texas is an arm of your church to the community. We exist to serve our clients... and to equip those God has called to serve. We can provide:

  • A speaker for your church and church groups
  • Video describing the Care Net Mission
  • Informative Missions Booth
  • Bulletin Inserts

Care Net of Central Texas also offers series of group classes addressing emotional health and healing,relationships, anger, God's role and plans for life.  These classes are facilitated by members of our faith community.

Group classes are offered twice each week to assist with

  • Relationships
  • Education
  • Parenting topics

Guest Speakers:  Our staff is available to attend women's, men's, youth or other groups interested in the scriptural basis for the sanctity of human life or the services provided at Care Net Pregnancy Center.  We can also provide information about becoming involved in the ministry.

Mission Fair:  Helping churches extend their missionary work in our community through local mission awareness and by forging a link between your church family and local missions.  We can set up a booth in your church to help build a purposeful relationship between this local mission and your church members.

Making Abortion Unthinkable Series:  Abortion has become an emotional debate pitting "choice" or individual rights against the rights of unborn babies.  Integral is the question of when is a fetus a human being.  God values human life at all stages of development and hates the shedding of innocent blood. 

This 5-hour or 5 week/one-hour workshop, equips individuals with the skills necessary to articulate the real issues, effects and risks of abortion.

WAIT Training:   (Why Am I Tempted?)  An educational program designed to teach students in public and private schools how to have healthy relationships, the potential risks of early sexual involvement, and highlight the many positive reasons for abstinence.

SOHL Sunday: (Sanctity of Human Life Sunday)  Our volunteers and staff are available to attend your church on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, the 3rd Sunday in January, to recognize those children lost to abortion, and to celebrate the God who cares for them now.  We invite your congregation to join us for a free BBQ lunch afterwards.

BIBLE STUDIES

  • PACE A bible study for post-abortive women and men who are looking for forgiveness and healing.
  • Paths to Sexual Healing: A bible study for women who have been sexually abused looking for healing and renewed hope.
  • Abstinence Education: "Restored Virginity": Caring and affirming counsel offered to clients who are not pregnant.  Class educates on the emotional, spiritual and physical benefits of saving sex for marriage.
